ControlScan Introduces PaySafe Connect for PCI-Compliant Payments at Standalone Terminals

ControlScan, a provider of managed security and compliance solutions that help secure networks and protect payment card data, released PaySafe Connect, a managed security service that helps retailers using standalone payment terminals secure their systems in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Standalone terminals are widely used, and businesses using them are required to annually self-attest to their PCI compliance using the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) B-IP.

PaySafe Connect gives SAQ B-IP retailers a way to meet firewall requirements and strengthen their security of point-of-sale devices and applications. It also applies security policies for both broadband and cellular connectivity, eliminates manual backup processes and reduces excess dial lines.
