commingle:engage, by Lodging Interactive, a hospitality industry provider of full-service social media marketing and guest reputation management services, said it is helping hotels maximize their direct-to-consumer relationships through its RFPAssist Conversational Marketing Service. In efforts to further support the hospitality industry, the service is being offered at no charge to hotels through the end of 2020.

RFPAssist connects to the hotel’s Facebook Messenger account to provide an automated customer lead generation process prior to sending the consumer’s message to the hotel staff to respond. All customer leads are databased for the hotel to leverage in future online marketing efforts, such as email or SMS marketing. The result is an efficient way for consumers to engage with a hotel directly through Facebook Messenger while capturing valuable contact information for the property.
“Our comningle:engage team will handle the entire set up process and will database all contact information and we will do so at no cost to the hotel,” added DJ Vallauri. “All consumer contact information collected is owned by the hotel and is free to use as they wish.”
