Cloudify and Datavision Partner to Extend Network Automation to Enterprise and Edge Use Cases

Cloudify Platform Ltd., an open source cloud native orchestration platform, has teamed up with Datavision to deliver end-to-end automation solutions for software-defined networking (SDN), network functions virtualization (NFV), edge computing, 5G, open vCPE and VNF management, as well as customized networking stacks. These advanced solutions can be deployed across hybrid environments - including OpenStack, VMware, Azure, AWS, Kubernetes and even bare metal.

This collaboration, driven by customer demand, will enable Datavision to architect and implement systems built on open, best of breed stacks leveraging Cloudify to provide API pluggability and interoperability with popular networking technologies, standards and platforms such as: Netconf, TOSCA, YANG, Cisco NSO, Open Daylight, ONAP, Ansible, alongside tributary technologies integrating seamlessly into clients' existing operations.

These joint solutions are already being delivered to leading Fortune 100 companies around the globe, including industrial, manufacturing, and communications service providers (CSPs).

A recent McKinsey Report states that as many as 70% of NFV and digital transformation initiatives fail when organizations are required to rip out old technology for new technology. Cloudify was built to power successful NFV transformations, by enabling organizations to integrate new technology alongside existing technology, by disaggregating the monolithic networking stack.
