Availpro Partners with Worldline to Offer E-Commerce and Payment Solutions to Hoteliers Worldwide
Availpro, a technology provider for hotel distribution, said it now cooperates with Worldline, a European payments and transactional services provider, to provide hoteliers with a full omnichannel solution regarding e-commerce payment services. Availpro’s hotel customers and their guests around the globe benefit from a secure and seamless booking payment solution. To name a few benefits, this partnership allows multicurrency payment and excludes any risk of double or fraudulent booking. On top of that, hotels can optimize their payment fee when direct settlement is reached.
How does it work? When a hotel guest books a room online, Availpro’s Smart Channel Manager registers all transaction data. Since September 1st, Availpro securely transfers those payment details to Worldline, which processes the credit card transaction. This solution allows hotels as well to benefit from an end-to-end solution including payment terminals; facilitating hotels’ operations with a single point of contact for their complete payments processing.
This partnership extends hotels’ reach worldwide thanks to local currency and payment mode management: guests can now pay the way they want in their own currency. It also provides one single point of reporting; one of Availpro’s key differentiators in terms of hotel technology tools. Indirect and direct distribution, payment solutions, revenue management and analytics are all controlled and managed from one single entry point, Availpro said.
Worldline's partnership with Availpro serves both the hospitality industry and hotel guests by directly debiting the sum paid online for a room. Hotels now receive their payment at the time of the booking; avoiding any risk of double or fraudulent booking while reducing the transaction cost. In the long run, Worldline's objective is to implement its credit card terminals in the lobbies of Availpro’s hotel clients.
A total of 11,500 hotels are connected to Availpro’s Channel Manager and Smart Booking Engine: all can now benefit from this agreement. Worldline delivers an end-to-end solution in e-commerce, helping hotels to receive payments directly. This solution relies on Worldline’s Online Payment Acceptance Solution, covering gateway and commercial acquiring services for a period of 3 years.
