Applebee's to Implement Draft Beer Optimization Program
Applebee's Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of DineEquity, Inc., announces plans to implement TapDynamics' TapAdvisor Service Platform across all 398 of Applebee's Services company-owned Applebee's restaurants. TapDynamics had completed the first phase of the deployment which included the activation of 320 Applebee's stores. The second phase, which includes the additional 78 company-owned locations, will be complete by May 30, 2009.
TapAdvisor's comprehensive service offering is designed to improve draft beer profitability and increase the quality of the draft beer product sold at on-premise locations. Applebee's is using the TapAdvisor Service Platform as the foundation for their new Draft Beer Optimization Program designed to grow draft beer sales, increase profitability and improve the overall quality of draft beer poured at Applebee's locations.
"We made the decision to deploy the TapAdvisor service in all of our company-owned stores based on the significant financial results generated during our pilot as well as the simplicity of their service platform," says Sam Rothschild, senior vice president of operations for Applebee's.
