Agilysys LMS Increases Payment Security with Support for Elavon Payment Gateway Services

01/30/2018

Agilysys, Inc., a global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, announced general availability of its Lodging Management System (LMS) version 7.3.6 for those customers that are not ready to move to LMS 7.4. This version includes several enhancements for payment options, such as support for rGuest Pay Connect and rGuest Pay iFrame.

Agilysys LMS is a property management solution that offers automation for every aspect of hotel operations, including reservations and credit card processing, accounting and housekeeping, activities scheduling, food and beverage sales, online reservations, remote check-in and more. Designed to help gaming resorts and hotels grow revenue opportunities with upsell automation, LMS helps operators make lasting connections that enhance guest satisfaction and boost efficiency of staff and operational workflows. Properties around the world rely on LMS's flexibility and ease of use to increase productivity, maximize revenue per guest and help drive repeat business.

The added support for rGuest Pay Connect in the 7.3.6 version of LMS enables customers who desire to use Elavon payment gateway services, including Elavon Fusebox and Elavon Simplify, to support card processing with EMV. In addition, LMS supports rGuest Pay iFrame, which allows customers to accept credit cards securely through ResNet, enabling them to take payments for guarantees and deposits. Using the new rGuest Pay iFrame technology, the customer data is completely secure, and credit card information never enters the property’s network.

The newest version of the system is LMS 7.4, which was released during G2E in October of 2017. It includes additional capabilities such as pre-check-in, mobile check-out, mobile housekeeping, as well as rGuest Seat dining reservations.
