2,465-Acre Colo. Resort Taps Agilysys to Streamline Operations

Copper Mountain Resort in Copper Mountain, Colo. has selected the Agilysys Visual One suite, including solutions for property management, activities, club management, condominium management and spa management, to streamline operations at the 2,465-acre ski destination.
 
"We need a dynamic software system that allows us to manage our rather complex condominium lodging model, and the Agilysys Visual One suite fulfills all of our requirements," says Mike Hurwitch, information technology director, Copper Mountain Resort. "It's a highly flexible system that integrates easily with other solutions and enables us to view data in new and creative ways. We are excited to explore new technological opportunities with the Agilysys Visual One system, particularly as it relates to activities scheduling, spa management and kiosk check-in and check-out. The Agilysys Visual One suite offers a wide range of features and functionality, including front office operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management and more. Its screens are laid out in an easy-to-use format with quick-feature icons and drag-and-drop capabilities. The solution, which runs on a Microsoft SQL Server database, enables customers to select from a variety of modules to create a combination of property-wide guest service and staff efficiency.
 
Copper Mountain Resort is using the following Agilysys Visual One modules:
  • Activities: To schedule and manage the property's many amenities;
  • Club Management: To manage memberships within the resort;
  • Condo Accounting: To calculate revenues, expenses and profit-sharing between condominium owners and the management company; and
  • Spa Management: To schedule guests for spa services and manage staff schedules.
The resort is also using the Agilysys Guest eMarketing solution to create personalized and cost-effective email campaigns and the Agilysys Guest Express kiosk system to expedite front desk check-in and check-out.
