Z Resorts Selects OpenKey for New Hotel ZaZa Austin

Z Resorts is known for iconic Hotel ZaZa properties in Dallas and Houston and has implemented mobile keyless entry at the newest property, the Hotel ZaZa Austin Downtown in collaboration with OpenKey. Guests at the hotel can leverage mobile check-in, digital key and mobile check-out using their smartphones and the OpenKey app.

Located in downtown Austin’s Warehouse District, Hotel ZaZa Austin aims to marry big city sophistication with authentic Texas style to create the city’s preeminent luxury boutique hotel. The hotel offers 159 guestrooms, including the trademark Magnificent Seven Suites and Concept Suites. A destination-worthy spa and fitness center with access to the 7th floor outdoor pool and cabana bar allow guests to relax and enjoy the wonderful views from the rooftop pool. The hotel also offers two dining options for guests as well as 8,500 square feet of meeting and event space.

A recent Oracle global study confirmed that 88% of consumers surveyed want a mobile app that supports check-in, check-out and provides a relevant and personalized experience. In addition to those capabilities, the OpenKey app will provide Hotel ZaZa Austin guests with dining and amenity information about the hotel as well as the Wi-Fi network and password for use during their stay. OpenKey also supports sustainability efforts in the hotel industry as keyless room access reduces the need for disposable plastic keys.
