Wyndham and Wyndham Gates to Offer Residents New Networking Tech
Wyndham and Wyndham Gates, two adjacent communities in Opelika, Alabama will soon bring their residents the most advanced entertainment and communications services available in the area. This is possible through a partnership with Connexion Technologies, a fiber-optic amenity company, who will build a Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network throughout the community.
A fiber-optic network can accommodate future needs through its unlimited bandwidth, one of the many benefits of this emerging technology. Fiber is more reliable than coaxial cable because it does not conduct electricity, resulting in fewer outages and greater resident satisfaction.
"We're thrilled with the Connexion Technologies partnership," says Lee Danielly of Knight Development, Inc., owner of both properties. "Many of our residents are first time homebuyers, and we're proud to offer them homes with this advanced network. It enables us to bring truly cutting-edge technology to affordable homes."
In the coming weeks, these properties' networks will support a vast array of affordable services including ultra-high speed Internet connections, more than 200 digital channels of entertainment and multi-function telephone service.
