Wand Snags Content Award at Digital Signage Expo 2011
Wand Corporation received a 2011 Digital Content Award for content created for the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation at the 2011 Digital Signage Expo (DSE). The creative content suite for their Digital Restaurant blends high-definition video and animated images to highlight product attributes, and coincide with various new product and nutritional integrations. The award was presented to Wand on February 23, at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, during a ceremony at the annual Digital Signage Expo–an international conference and trade show dedicated to digital signage–which is produced by Exponation, LLC.
The winning creative content suite was designed to be used in conjunction with the Wand Digital Restaurant for corporate and franchise Quick Service Restaurant locations. The goal of this implementation was to allow for management of pricing and nutritional information, to help to increase sales while focusing on LTO (Limited Time Offer) upselling and promotion, while still maintaining flexibility in a complicated day-part schedule. Both indoor and outdoor digital menu board (DMB) and digital point of purchase (POP) board content needed to be created and maintained, with separate focus between indoor and outdoor content. The Digital Restaurant is comprised of indoor and outdoor DMB and POP units.
