TouchSuite Buys Alpine Payment Systems
TouchSuite has announced it has acquired the assets of IQ Payment Systems, dba Alpine Payment Systems (“Alpine”), through a newly formed subsidiary.
Founded in 2007, Alpine is a merchant acquirer based out of Vancouver, Wash. that services the restaurant, hospitality and retail verticals. Alpine has built an integrated payments business with a highly scalable distribution platform.
The acquisition of Alpine broadens TouchSuite’s presence in the Western United States, providing additional resources and support for merchants. Utilizing TouchSuite’s collection of technology products, strong capital base and expertise in advising ISOs in the payments sector, Alpine expects to expand rapidly over the next year.
This acquisition expands TouchSuite’s distribution of its offerings, which include POS hardware and payment services along with proprietary software solutions for businesses of all sizes. As a result, Alpine will broaden its platform and deliver more compelling services to meet merchant demands. TouchSuite remains an active acquirer of payment-related businesses focused on merchant acquiring, new product development and value-added solutions providers.
Leveraging TouchSuite’s existing infrastructure, Alpine will focus on providing exceptional service and solutions to merchants. TouchSuite also expects to increase wallet share of Alpine’s established customer base through its cross-sell team and incentive programs.
