Star Micronics and Acadia to Offer Affordable and Easy-to-Use POS Solution

Star Micronics, a manufacturer of mobile, point of sale (POS), and customer engagement technologies, announced that Acadia has added support for Star’s TSP100IIIU receipt printer. Acadia POS was designed from the ground-up to provide clients with an affordable and easy-to-use point of sale platform. They chose to integrate with Star printers for that very reason. 

Star’s TSP100IIIU is an easy-to-operate printer. It offers USB connection for device communication, while charging an iPad or iPhone device simultaneously. The TSP100III prints at a high-speed of 43 RPM (250mm/s), and includes "drop-in & print" paper loading and a guillotine auto-cutter. 

Acadia offers a point of sale that is customized with special features to help retailers get the most out of their system. By hand selecting the most essential and used features, Acadia has developed a solution that is great for a variety of industries. Some key features of the Acadia POS include accounting, inventory management, reporting, discounting, and much more.
