Shift4 Payments Acquires, Integrates Three Point-of-Sale Brands

Shift4 Payments announced the acquisition of three point-of-sale (POS) brands: Restaurant Manager, POSitouch and Future POS. The acquisition of these major companies, as well as their subsequent integration into the Shift4 Payments platform, is sure to transform the landscape within the entire financial technology industry. These acquisitions represent a significant share of the hospitality POS market and join Harbortouch in the Shift4 family of POS brands. These best-in-class POS companies add nearly 100,000 merchants to the Shift4 Payments platform, including some of the biggest national chain restaurants such as Wendy's, Arby's, Denny's, KFC, Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, and Dairy Queen.

Founded in 1985, POSitouch is based in Warwick, RI and their premium restaurant POS software has been installed in over 50,000 locations throughout the U.S., Canada, South America, Europe, and the Far East. Their client base includes many notable national chain accounts such as Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Houlihan's, and many others.

Restaurant Manager has been designing POS software for the foodservice industry since 1987. The company has supported over 15,000 hospitality clients across the world, with customers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and a number of European countries.

Founded in 1998, Future POS offers innovative point-of-sale software for the restaurant and hospitality markets.
