Results Thru Strategy Adds Three Industry Experts
Results Thru Strategy (RTS), the leading consulting company for the hospitality industry, has announced three new partners.
Veteran executive Christopher Sebes will serve as a technology strategist for Results Thru Strategy clients. He has extensive experience in the restaurant and hospitality sectors, including multi-unit restaurant operations in Europe and the U.S. He also created the first Microsoft Windows point-of-sale company, Twenty20 Visual Systems, where he served as CEO until selling the company to Radiant Systems in 1997. Mr. Sebes then became the CEO of Progressive Software, before founding XPIENT in 2004, which was sold to Heartland Payment Systems, a restaurant and retail management technology company, in 2015. He was then elected to become the President of Heartland Commerce, more currently known as Xenial, Inc., a global payments company. He received a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from University of Portsmouth (U.K.).
Jessica Kates, a seasoned financial executive, will be responsible for strengthening the financial services practice of Results Thru Strategy. She has nearly two decades of private equity and senior level operating and management experience in restaurants and retail. Prior to joining Results Thru Strategy, she co-founded Rellevant, a boutique private equity firm, and was a Partner in TriSpan’s Rising Stars fund, which is dedicated to supporting restaurants. Ms. Kates also served as CFO/COO and later CEO of Eddie Borgo, a luxury accessories brand, as well as CFO for Folica, an online-consumer products retailer. Before earning her MBA at Harvard Business School, she worked for L Catterton and for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (later Credit Suisse First Boston). Ms. Kates graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce with Great Distinction.
Veteran marketer Meg Kypena will support the group’s branding and marketing efforts. Her experience includes corporate restructuring, marketing operations, client acquisition and service-model strategies in the financial services industry. Previously, Ms. Kypena led the national field marketing teams for MetLife and MassMutual where she recruited and trained more than 200 marketers nationwide. Her project work also includes creating a global communications strategy for a proprietary, multi-language hospitality learning program for Hilton. Meg earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Suffolk University and is a Certified SCORE©Mentor.
