PMS Provider SIHOT Shares 2022 Plans
SIHOT, a modular hotel management software system designed for leisure resorts, hotel chains, MICE hotels, and hostels, shared its plans for 2022 as it focuses on regional growth and tailoring the user interface to specific job functions and hotel categories.
The Germany-based company with over 3,500 hotel customers worldwide is furthering investment in its regional offices. Its plans include the expansion of its local sales team in Austria and diversifying regional integration capabilities with technology providers and distribution channels. SIHOT will also open a local customer support center in Turkey to support hotel teams in harnessing the power of the SIHOT hotel management system by automating and digitalizing hotel operations, revenue and the guest journey.
The central product focus in 2022 is the evolution of the user interface experience to support cross-functional hotel teams and departmental objectives. In an effort to tailor the usability of its platform across a diverse client-base, SIHOT is addressing challenges in staff shortages and training to meet core functionality requirements by hotel category accompanied with role-based screen design to enable better usability by hotel teams.
SIHOT’s highly customizable modular platform will continue to expand the range of its own additional applications and third party integrations for hotels to create a bespoke property ecosystem. With the ongoing transition to SaaS cloud-based systems, SIHOT will be increasing investment in Cloud-native deployments for hotels.
“The last two years has highlighted the need for a fully customizable centralized platform for hospitality businesses to develop a tailored tech stack with customised user interfaces to maximize usage,” said Carsten Wernet, Chief Executive, SIHOT. “SIHOT has always invested in providing applications and tools alongside offering integrations to preferred third party technologies. With the need for greater flexibility we reimagined our integrations and partner programs to provide more immediate and seamless access to data, while developing Cloud capabilities. We also recognize the importance of adapting the user interface to address challenges in training and usability particularly as the industry struggles with staff shortages and the need for improving efficiencies. We’re committed to being a real partner to our customers, providing a higher level of service and solutions to their technology requirements across our regions.”
During 2021, SIHOT expanded its offices in Portugal, Spain and Australia, launched its hotel Integration Finder and vendor Partner Program, as well as released new products including SIHOT.KIOSK and SIHOT.INSIGHTS.
