Philippines’ Bed Box Hotel Automates Operations with Cloud-based PMS
Bed Box Hotel in the Philippines has adopted Hotelogix, a cloud-based Property Management System. With Hotelogix PMS, the management at the property aims to streamline and automate its daily operations with ease.
Located in Dagupan City, Province of Pangasinan, Bed Box Hotel, a decade-old property provides quality accommodation to both business and tourist travellers. This 42-room property has garnered good ratings on various online hotel booking sites.
Before adopting Hotelogix, the management at Bed Box Hotel were manually handling their operations.
“With the absence of a PMS, we couldn’t automate and streamline our operations. Right from managing reservations to check-ins and checkouts, we used to handle everything manually. The whole process was time-consuming,” said Engr. Ricky Abuyuan, general manager, Bed Box Hotel.
According to Abuyuan they decided to adopt Hotelogix after carefully examining several other PMSs. “Hotelogix is a feature rich PMS. As we go ahead, we aim to utilize the reporting feature to make data-driven decisions that has a direct impact on our hotel business. From day one, our staff, most of them who are first time PMS users, have found it extremely user-friendly.”
Additionally, it comes with a channel manager connect which would now help them distribute their rates and inventories on OTAs, in real-time. The management at the hotel also aims to leverage Hotelogix to take advantage of intelligent pricing strategies and to increase its online reputation.
