OpenKey Launches Mobile Key at Minimax Premier Hotel in China
OpenKey said it launched an innovation in the keyless entry space at the MiniMax Premier Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao supported by the OpenKey China office in Shanghai, China.
Similar in many respects to the well-known OpenKey mobile app used around the world, the OpenKey China version includes several innovations to address specific needs in the Chinese market including the ability to request an invoice required for reimbursement of business expenses and most significantly the ability to access a hotel room using the ubiquitous social platform WeChat – akin to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter all in one social network and used by 70 percent of the Chinese population.
The MiniMax Premier brand is a combination of high-end quality and smart technology, of trendy and a friendly feel, and of comfort and ingenuity. The brand’s creative design and stylishness make the latest trends seem close at hand. Throwing aside the traditional concept of a high-end hotel, the brand takes guests on a unique experience through its four signature brand distinctions: The interactive lobby concept- Inspiration Space, Creative Design, Delightful Service and 5-Star Quality Rooms.
“The guests of MiniMax Premier Hotels expect the latest in hotel technology, it’s part of our brand positioning and the promise we deliver on for our loyal patrons,” stated Kerry Li, General Manager at MiniMix Premier Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao. “Partnering with OpenKey China was the simple choice for us to improve the guest experience and deliver the most secure and convenient guestroom access in the market.”
The ultra-modern 4-star MiniMax Premier Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao is located in Hongqiao Economic Zone, the Greatest IBP Industry Area and Hongqiao Business Circle. Opened in 2015, the unique hotel attracts visitors with its innovative architecture and comfortable rooms fitted with complimentary wireless internet, an in-room safe, climate control, a seating area and a trouser press. Located in close proximity to the Hongqiao train station, the hotel attracts business travelers and leisure guests who enjoy high-speed rail service throughout China.
