New Hotel Management Company, HOSDI, Announces Formal Launch


HOSDI announces its formal launch, along with an open invitation to hotel owners seeking to enhance their returns. Led by a team of industry veterans, HOSDI is committed to the full utilization of not only its decades of hospitality success, but also the incorporation of pioneering technology platforms aimed at delivering results in future decades.  

Joe Viglietta, CEO and Managing Partner, puts it this way – “We are at the tail end of one of the most prolific cycles in our industry.  Hotel owners would be best served in keeping two points in mind – 1) it is not how well your hotel performed, but how well your hotel should have performed; and, 2) talent is the key differentiator in ensuring your hotel is optimally positioned for unprecedented supply growth and heightened competition.”

Prior to embarking on this endeavor, Viglietta served as Chief Operating Officer for Vista Host, a company he served for more than 20 years.  His philosophical foundation is rooted in the belief that we are all called to greatness, that greatness is a choice, and that the concepts of “serving others” and “maximizing profits” must harmoniously co-exist to generate collectively beneficial outcomes.

Viglietta is joined by Tatum Kane, Chief Sales Officer and Partner, who held prominent positions with Marriott International for 12 years, Texas Western Hospitality, and Vista Host.  Kane’s sense of vision has been instrumental in her continued advancement in the industry, and she now brings to HOSDI her profound skills in prospecting for new accounts, sales mix of business optimization, positioning new hotels and properties under renovation for success, and training and developing sales leaders.  

“HOSDI now provides hotel owners with a dynamic platform for revenue generation across myriad sources of business,” Kane says.  “We are uniquely prepared to consistently move the needle in a positive direction for our partners.”

Jesse Phillips, Executive Vice President of Operations, and Sarah Edge, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, have also joined the HOSDI team, and each brings considerable talents and entrepreneurial drive to the endeavor.  Combined, the executive leadership of HOSDI has experience with numerous flags within Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and Choice.
