Merchant Link Completes Certification with Oracle Hospitality for OPI 6.2 Operating with Its Opera Property Management Solution
Merchant Link, a payment gateway serving enterprise and independent customers, offering prospects, customers and partners access to its cloud-based cardholder data security solutions, announces that it received its Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) 6.2 certification with Oracle Hospitality’s hotel software: Opera PMS.
Merchant Link has a longstanding relationship with Opera, from its inception under MICROS Systems, Inc., and continuing through the acquisition by Oracle of MICROS in 2014. Merchant Link has maintained its Gold Partner relationship status with Oracle and continues to invest in the relationship with both product and service innovations.
The recent certification (OPI 6.2) further validates the growth both Merchant Link and Oracle see in the industry relationship and in the commitment by each organization to deliver the latest technology to their respective prospects and customers.
Merchant Link’s product suite includes TransactionLink™, an independent hardware/software solution allowing merchants to seamlessly and securely process payments via the Merchant Link Gateway. TransactionLink™ not only helps protect merchants from card-present fraudulent transactions, but also facilitates merchants’ ability to accept new payment types and methods, including EMV, NFC (contactless), mobile wallets, and others. TransactionLink™ connects a merchant’s Property Management systems and Point-of-Sale systems to any number of payment processors, transmitting cardholder data and sensitive authentication data for authorization via HTTP using PCI-compliant security standards. TransactionLink™ can be integrated with a variety of property and above property systems, thus supporting a number of interface options while managing the total customer payment interaction, and giving the merchant greater ability to control the user experience.
Additional product offerings include Merchant Link’s TransactionVault (tokenization) and TransactionShield (P2PE). Security at the property level occurs when TransactionVault and TransactionShield are used in conjunction with TransactionLink.
