“... We believe strongly that providing our workforce with state-of-the-art technology will increase employee engagement in this competitive industry."

Lettuce Entertain You serves guests at more than 60 concepts ranging from fast-causal restaurants such as M Burger to fine-dining, Michelin-starred establishments like Everest. Prior to UltiPro, the company administered the HCM for its 8,000 corporate and restaurant employees with a legacy, on-premise solution. As part of an enterprise-wide digital transformation, the company sought to deploy HR technology to better support its operations and improve the employee experience.

“From an operations perspective, Ultimate’s consolidated solution will enable us to eliminate manual and redundant processes, and we can leverage UltiPro’s APIs to work with restaurant-specific solutions for scheduling, and time and attendance,” said Ethan Samson, vice president and deputy general counsel at Lettuce Entertain You. “We’re also planning to take advantage of UltiPro’s flexibility to help us with compliance. Our national footprint requires us to contend not only with federal and state regulations, but more recently with municipalities, counties, and cities that are enacting their own regulations.”

According to Samson, Lettuce Entertain You is excited to use UltiPro’s cloud-based direct access to enable employees to manage their human capital transactions from their phones. Employees will be able to update their personal information and check pay, benefits, and PTO balances, all without having to contact HR.

“... We believe strongly that providing our workforce with state-of-the-art technology will increase employee engagement in this competitive industry,” said Samson.

Samson noted that the company’s selection of UltiPro was based not only on UltiPro’s superior functionality and usability, but also on the promise of a productive, long-lasting partnership with Ultimate.

Ultimate is a global provider of cloud-based human capital management and employee experience solutions, with more than 51 million people records in the cloud. www.ultimatesoftware.com.
