John Q. Hammons Hotels Taps XETA for HSIA

The independent owner and hotel management company John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts has selected XETA Hospitality Solutions for High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) and management services at 26 locations nationwide.
The deal includes limited and full-service hotels representing multiple flags and encompasses 6,826 guest rooms and 693,556 square feet of conference space. As part of the new relationship, XETA Hospitality will provide network assessments, equipment upgrades and future upgrade planning as well as guest HSIA provisioning and complete 24x7 network monitoring and help desk support. XETA Hospitality will also supply network cabling services as part of the agreement.
“HSIA is a must-have amenity for guests, but it can also be a major source of customer dissatisfaction when not executed properly. It was very important to us to have a provider that we could trust, so we did a good deal of diligence before selecting XETA Hospitality,” says Kathleen Erickson, information technology business manager of John Q. Hammons Hotels. “We spent time with their management team, visited their new Solution Center in St. Louis and talked to their customers.
