Hoist Group Unveils Data-Centric 2020 Strategy, Announces Exec Appointments

11/29/2019

Hoist Group launches its 2020 data-centric strategy to support hoteliers with a business intelligence Dashboard and related Consulting services, supported also by a new company positioning and a reinforced management team.

Building on its product portfolio, Hoist Group is presenting its data-centric business intelligence platform for the hotels that use its range of services, including IP Networks, Internet Access, TV system, Digital Signage, Content, Property Management System, Booking Engine, Mobile Key, and Task Management.

Each product generates inputs on consumption, trends and ultimately guest behavior. Business insights can be gained by cross-correlating this data, allowing the hotelier to better focus on customization, guest satisfaction and cost control – ultimately facilitating higher RevPar and occupancy.

Hoist Group has built a secure data lake to enable this information to be stored, treated and presented in an insightful way to support hoteliers’ decision making. Furthermore, the open API architecture of the platform facilitates the integration of third-party data, such as eReputation, PMS and other partners.

Hoist Group also announces the launch of a unified front-end, the Hoist Dashboard, a premium service allowing the hotelier to have full oversight of all its integrated data sources and extract all the relevant reports and insights, within the GDPR framework.

In parallel, Hoist Group is introducing dedicated Customer Success Managers in each of its 23 EMEA offices. The Customer Success Managers are specialized consultants familiar with the daily challenges of hotels, and aim to help them extract, interpret and act upon ad-hoc data requirements. Each of Hoist Group’s serviced hotels will be visited by their dedicated Customer Success Managers in early 2020 to make them aware of the data available in the Dashboard and its potential to steer and benchmark their business.

The combination of the ever-increasing data sources with focused personalized support to manage it, is expected to allow hoteliers to act upon the complex technological inputs from the multiple systems running in their properties.

The long-term strategy of Hoist Group is to deepen its relationships with hoteliers across EMEA by constantly improving and enlarging its product portfolio on a single platform, thereby enabling business intelligence decisions over a unique content management tool.

Hoist Group is also taking the initiative to further strengthen its management team and accelerate its evolution by appointing Magnus Lindholm, formerly IFS, as new Group CFO, as well as promoting Annika Rydström to COO and Marc Valentin to CIO.
