HEDNA Honors Tom Bruno of Marriott with 2020 Award of Excellence

Industry association HEDNA (Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association) gathered 300 distribution and payment executives in Los Angeles, California last week to for their North American conference discussing the hottest topics and trends in hospitality. Alongside strong speaker content, highly relevant panel discussions and unmatched industry networking, conference attendees and HEDNA board members celebrated the recipient of the 2020 HEDNA Award of Excellence, Tom Bruno, VP Connectivity and Content Distribution at Marriott International.

Mr. Bruno is an industry icon whose passion and determination for driving the industry forward is visible in every aspect of his work. He has led the Marriott team into becoming a world class organization in Hospitality Distribution and is responsible for creating and delivering disruptive internal and external strategies on a global scale which have been revered by the industry at large.

In addition to his leadership at Marriott, Mr. Bruno has volunteered and served HEDNA for many years.  During his long-term membership within HEDNA, Mr. Bruno has served on numerous working groups including Payments and HEDNA U in addition to serving on the HEDNA Board of Directors from 2010 until 2014.

The HEDNA Award of Excellence recognizes and honors an individual or company that has made remarkable contributions toward the advancement of Hotel Distribution.
