In the blink of an eye, talk shows, commentaries and editorial pages are filled with critiques or fawning interviews of the latest and hottest author. By and large, I've tried to keep HT's pages clear of the hype. Business philosophies come and go, and well-run organizations seldom come from lessons learned from the pages of a paperback book.
1/1/2006 Seven years can pass in the blink of an eye. As I was registering my daughter for kindergarten for this fall, it struck me how quickly time goes by.

10/1/2005 I am not sure anyone that witnessed the destructive fury of Hurricane Katrina, and the slow descent into chaos that followed will ever be same. Even as New Orleans and the Gulf Coast region slowly gets back on its collective feet, the feeling of shock and awe will linger on.
