DoorDash Offers Nationwide Shipping

Just in time for the gift giving season, consumers can order savory meals, baked goods, fresh produce and more with free delivery from anywhere in the nation in just a few days

Big Shakes Hot Chicken in Franklin, Tenn., is among the restaurants now offering mail-order meals through DoorDash.

DoorDash is introducing nationwide shipping on DoorDash and Caviar. Consumers can now order delicious meals and items from iconic restaurants and retailers across the country and have them delivered directly to their doorstep.

With Nationwide Shipping, consumers can order everything from sweet treats and savory meals, to flowers and fresh produce, with free delivery from anywhere in the nation in just a few days. Participating brands include Carlo’s Bakery (Hoboken, NJ), Katz’s Delicatessen (New York, NY), Momofuku (New York, NY), Get Maine Lobster (Portland, ME), and Carbone Fine Food, to local heroes like Big Shakes Hot Chicken (Franklin, TN), Chocolate and the Chip (Los Angeles, CA).

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Big Shake’s Hot Chicken will be offering Deep-Fried Turkeys from Chef Big Shake, Shawn Davis, exclusive to DoorDash customers.

Here’s How Shipping Works

Open the DoorDash or Caviar app and click into the Nationwide Shipping carousel to explore available merchants and their offerings.
Select the items to order and proceed to checkout. Consumers will have the option to have their order shipped ASAP or choose a future delivery date up to 3 months out. Customers can review the expected delivery date before checkout. Once the merchant has prepared the order, it’s shipped via 1-2 day free shipping (product will arrive 2-4 days from date of order on average).
Once the merchant ships the order, consumers will receive a confirmation email from DoorDash or Caviar. Once the order is delivered, consumers will receive another email indicating the order has been delivered.

Send a Gift with Nationwide Shipping

This holiday season, and for all holidays and gift giving events to follow, consumers can send a gift to a friend or loved one via Nationwide Shipping on DoorDash and Caviar. Consumers can simply select the items they want to send as a gift and add a gift message that will be included in the packaging. In the coming weeks, consumers will be able to go a step further and choose from a range of fun, digitally animated cards for a variety of occasions as well as add recipient contact information for tracking notifications.
