Comcast Business and Hotel VIA Recognized at MEF 2018 for Enabling Personalized, Seamless Guest Experiences with High-Performance Ethernet

Comcast Business today announced it won the Enterprise Application of the Year for Hospitality award from the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), highlighting how the Company’s high-performance Ethernet services are allowing San Francisco’s Hotel VIA to deliver an unprecedented personalized hospitality experience. Award winners were recognized at the MEF18 global networking event held last week in Los Angeles, California.

The 2018 MEF Awards program recognizes service, application, technology, and professional excellence in the global community committed to delivering innovative solutions that are optimized for the digital economy. The prestigious Awards program, now in its 13th year, is the largest in the world focused on emerging dynamic network services powered by Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN), and Ethernet technologies. Comcast Business was nominated for its service, application and technology innovation and excellence across multiple awards categories.
