Burger King Corporation has expanded its relationship with SICOM Systems, Inc. as an approved point-of-sale (POS) supplier to include distribution of its products to restaurants in the United Kingdom. This is an extension of SICOM's original approval by BURGER KING for North America, South America and the Caribbean.
SICOM went through a rigorous validation process that included several months of testing and research by Burger King Corporation to ensure that all necessary criteria were met. Feedback from the various test partners indicated that BURGER KING franchisees in the United Kingdom are very satisfied with the SICOM POS system, installation, training, support and functionality.
SICOM's only business for almost 40 years has been developing specialized POS systems for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, including 20 years of service to the BURGER KING system, making it uniquely qualified for expanding this relationship. SICOM has more than 3,200 installations with the BURGER KING brand.
