Buffalo Wild Wings Digitizes Operational Procedures, Protocols

11/25/2019

CMX, a provider of Enterprise Quality Management Solutions (EQMS) for supply chain management and operations, announced that CMX ActivityStudio has gone live in all Buffalo Wild Wings sports bars.

ActivityStudio enables organizations of all sizes to digitize their operating procedures and protocols for a systematic approach to achieving and maintaining Quality and Operational Excellence. Its drag-and-drop visual form builder and program design tools can be used to create and manage company policies, audits, self-assessments, inspections, checklists, and survey programs.

The solution went live in less than 30 days, a new record for CMX.

Buffalo Wild Wings is leveraging ActivityStudio for self-assessments and in-depth location audits for its sports bars globally. Areas of evaluation include guest experience, food safety and temperature monitoring, back of house operations, kitchen equipment, staff development, dining room environment, cleanliness, and other brand standards. Activities can be completed offline or online with web and native applications for IOS, Android and Windows.

“ActivityStudio’s intuitive interface makes it very easy for our team to develop and execute programs to ensure all sports bars are compliant and operating with consistency. The impact on Operational Excellence has been impressive and immediate for Buffalo Wild Wings,” said Drew Roberts, Director, Brand Ops Performance for Buffalo Wild Wings. “We consider ActivityStudio to be a game changer. With ActivityStudio we are better able to manage and maintain high quality standards and consistency across all of our sports bars.”

ActivityStudio mitigates risk and helps close the loop on critical issues by automatically turning non-conformances into Corrective Action and Preventive Action plans. It requires restaurant managers to address issues in a timely manner, with review and sign off by the auditor.
