Apple Pay to be Featured on FreedomPay’s DecisionPoint Network
FreedomPay, a global provider of secure commerce technology for lodging, gaming, retail, restaurants, stadiums and other hospitality merchants, announced Apple Pay will be featured on its new DecisionPoint Network™ (DPN). DPN is a first-of-its kind digital network bringing merchant messages, advertising and value added services to payment terminals, helping merchants extend their presence and engage consumers at the Point of Sale (POS). Apple Pay is transforming mobile payments with an easy, secure and private way to pay that’s fast and convenient.
Following DPN’s successful introduction at the Banc of California Stadium where NFC adoption and revenue increased 26 percent and 29 percent, respectively, Apple Pay will continue to be displayed in FreedomPay's growing network, reaching airports, stadiums and universities across FreedomPay’s DPN footprint.
DPN utilizes proprietary technology to drive screen content, video and sound at check out in heavily trafficked environments including: stadiums, airports, travel stops, hotels, restaurants, theme parks, universities, office buildings and more. As a benefit to consumers, DPN alerts consumers to special offers, availability of new payment options like Apple Pay and other details at the POS. DPN is a highly flexible platform that can be customized to fit any consumer targeting strategy. Now available at hundreds of thousands of locations secured by FreedomPay across the United States, DPN will soon be available internationally.
Apple Pay is easy to set up and users receive all of the rewards and benefits offered by credit and debit cards.
