Zaxby's Chooses Exclusive POS Partner
Zaxby's Franchising Inc. announces its selection of Micros RES 4.0 as the exclusive point-of-sale technology for its 75 company-owed and 325 franchised locations. Zaxby's indicates that it will deploy Micros Workstation 4 LX's (WS4 LX), Micros Kitchen Display Systems, and mymicros.net. An initial 100 corporate and franchised stores will be deployed by January 2008, with the remaining location upgrades to follow.
In addition, the menus at all Zaxby's locations will be controlled by Micros Enterprise Management, allowing Zaxby's corporate to manage and ensure that all locations adhere to the same menu standards throughout the enterprise. Additionally, the Micros analytic tool "mymicros.net" will provide Zaxby's access to real-time business intelligence and sales information from its franchisee base.
"We performed successful pilots of Micros in five of our locations and were very pleased with the RES 4.0 technology platform and integration capabilities," stated Tripp Sessions, Director of IT for Zaxby's.
