Trump Hotel Collection to Replace Legacy PMS
The Trump Hotel Collection has selected MICROS's OPERA Enterprise Solution to replace its legacy property management system (PMS). The Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago will be the first property to go live with MICROS hotel management software, followed by Central Park West, Soho, Las Vegas and Waikiki. The deployment of MICROS's OPERA Enterprise Solution will conclude with the newest additions to the collection in Panama and Toronto.
MICROS will install the OPERA Property Management System and OPERA Vacation Ownership in all of the Trump Hotel Collection properties. Additionally, several properties will install the OPERA Hardware Solution and Trump Hotel Collection will centrally host the OPERA Customer Information System in Chicago for a true enterprise solution. The hotel management software will support the hotel staff by managing the day-to-day requirements including reservations, guest check-in and check-out, assignment of rooms and management of room inventory, room rotation, accommodation of in-house guest needs, accounting, owner accounting and billing functions. Furthermore, all of the integrated modules will share one database to provide a seamless flow of information, ensuring the hotel staff offers a superior and memorable experience for the guest.
"MICROS is aligned with our goals and provides us the tools to support our strategy to become globalized," says Mike Straube, corporate director of finance, Trump Hotel Collection. "MICROS's OPERA Enterprise Solution offers us the ability to share information across multiple applications and properties on one single database to provide an unparalleled free flow of information."
