Tangerine Provides HDTV for Mandarin Oriental

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is rolling out Tangerine Global's High Definition Television (HDTV) programming services. Tangerine Global is officially launching the first HDTV services in Hong Kong at the new Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Domestically, Mandarin Oriental's Washington D.C. property is the first to offer the full Tangerine Global line-up of satellite, international and HDTV channels. Tangerine Global also provides niche programming services for the Mandarin Oriental in New York City.

To create the first HD channels in Mandarin Oriental's international properties, where HD cannot otherwise be received, Tangerine Global has developed systems to securely store, playback and manage programming that seamlessly delivers HD channels to hotel guests indistinguishable from those received from HD broadcasters.
