Rosen Shingle Creek Gets Integrated

Rosen Hotels and Resorts, based in Orlando, Florida, are integrating their property management systems with Visual One's suite of software products for its premier site, Rosen Shingle Creek. Rosen Hotels also uses V1's software at the 800-room Rosen Plaza Hotel and 1,334-room Rosen Centre Hotel.

Rosen Shingle Creek is scheduled to open in September of 2006 less than a mile from the new Orange County Convention Center's North-South complex and next to the UCF Rosen School of Hospitality Management. The installation will include Visual One's Property Management software, preventative maintenance, restaurant point-of-sale, club management, sales & catering, guest activity scheduling, Web page interface, spa, golf course management, dining room reservations, electronic registration card, accounts receivable and interfaces to Expedia, Passkey, and TravelClick.

Rosen's Shingle Creek will be the first Visual One property to use multiple check in/check out/guest service kiosks, utilize the guest room key to allow charging in all point of sale outlets, electronic signature capture in their point-of-sale outlets as well as electronic signature capture of all guest folios at check-out.
