According to data compiled in the Seventh Annual Restaurant Industry Technology Study, Driving Restaurant Profitability, productivity (47%) is the top priority for QSR restaurants IT projects, followed by cost savings (41%). Casual-dining restaurant operators, conversely exhibited a broader focus, with 36% indicating IT projects were driven by productivity, 26% indicated costs savings was most important, 16% focused on guest services and 11% driven by revenue generation.
