Rachel Humphrey Joins EV Hotel Board

I am excited to announce the appointment of Rachel Humphrey as the newest member of the board and just a honor to have her part of the EV team. Rachel has been a huge supporter of EV HOTEL and I remember our first phone call but will keep that conversation private. She is an Industry Icon and loved by many in the sector.

Rachel Humphrey 
Hospitality Industry Executive and Counsel 

Rachel Humphrey has devoted 23 years in service to the hospitality industry. 

Before retiring in August 2021, Rachel served as the Executive Vice President & COO of AAHOA, the nation's largest and most influential hotel owners association, and served as a member of its Executive Leadership Team. Rachel joined AAHOA in 2015 after more than 20 years as a trial lawyer. She was responsible for AAHOA’s day to day operations, in addition to managing its franchise and industry and overseeing the association's education initiatives. Rachel led AAHOA as its Interim President and CEO for most of 2019, during which she served on the AAHOA Board of Directors. 

Rachel has been recognized by Hotel Management as one of the “Influential Women in Hospitality,” by Lodging Magazine as one of “18 Women Paving the Way in Hospitality,” and by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in its Who’s Who in Hospitality, as well as by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of "Georgia’s Legal Elite: The State’s Most Effective Lawyers.” Rachel received the prestigious Chairwoman’s Award and Team Member of the Year Award, as well as other recognitions for her leadership and service to AAHOA and the hospitality industry. 

Rachel currently serves on the Kennesaw State University Coles College of Business Advisory Board and the Women in Travel Thrive Advisory Board. In addition to being a frequent speaker, moderator, panelist, and contributor at industry conferences and in industry trade publications, Rachel has also served on numerous industry advisory boards and committees. 
Prior to joining AAHOA, Rachel represented companies throughout the United States, including many hotel franchisees, as complex business litigation counsel and a corporate generalist.
