from the 2018 Restaurant Technology Study.

Through crosstab analysis, HT’s research is able to identify how restaurants with revenues of more than $50 million are investing in technology differently to make them more confident in several areas: overall technological innovation, digital guest engagement and data analytics.

Key findings include:
• One out of two restaurant companies with revenues more than $50 million
annually, consider themselves innovative.
• Average technology budgets as a percentage of revenue are higher for
companies making more than $50M annually.
• Operators plan to put more emphasis on CRM with an average increase in CRM
software spending of 6%.
