What were the highlights at “MURTEC 2023: All In” for you and your brand?
Being our first major conference of the year, MURTEC really sets the tone for our team in 2023. This year at MURTEC, Toast brought a diverse team of leaders across different departments (Product, Marketing, Solutions, Partnerships, and Sales) in order to strengthen cross-functional conversations with our customers, multi-unit restaurant leaders, and technology partners.
Though we couldn’t network with everyone we wanted to, each conversation we had was a highlight for the team - these relationships are likely ones that will continue to blossom and grow into business opportunities, throughout the rest of the year.
What did you learn from MURTEC networking and educational sessions?
MURTEC always brings in amazing leaders from the top restaurant brands, and this year was no different. As Toast’s platform continues to evolve and mature for Enterprise brands, it is a great opportunity to validate our strategic priorities and align them with how multi-unit restaurant operators and their leadership teams are thinking about navigating an increasingly difficult 2023.
We also loved hearing from the emerging leaders on the ‘Genzennial Sentiment Panel’! It was refreshing to listen to the young voices who will likely be industry leaders in the future!
What solutions did you present to the MURTEC community?
We are proud to welcome Delphi Display Systems to the Toast family and at this year’s MURTEC, we were able to showcase how Toast is strengthened by the acquisition of the Delphi team. Delphi’s technology, which has the potential to reach the more than 400,000 QSRs and fast casual eateries in the United States, extends Toast’s growing suite of products that benefit QSR and Enterprise brands. Integrating Delphi into the Toast platform will enable our team to deepen our support for customers who operate a drive-thru service model, and we can’t wait for the opportunities in this next chapter.
