Mount Airy Casino Resort Overhauls PMS

Mount Airy Casino Resort, in Mount Pocono, PA, announces its selection of Agilysys to provide it with a suite of property management and inventory procurement solutions. Mount Airy Casino Resort will use the Lodging Management System and Materials Management System and the InfoGenesis Point-of-Sale.

"We were looking for a single vendor that could provide a comprehensive and robust set of solutions that addressed all facets of hotel and casino operations," says Mike Ray, chief information officer, Mount Airy Casino Resort. "We also needed systems that were user-friendly, as some of our staff has minimal hotel and casino experience. We are looking forward to implementing the property management and inventory procurement technology, which will enable us to deliver a high level of guest service while minimizing our operating costs."

Additional modules which will be utilized by Mount Airy Casino Resort include: an activities reservation and ticketing module; a self-service check-in kiosk; aWeb-based real-time reservation system; an inventory-scanning module and a retail automation module.

Mount Airy Casino Resort is scheduled to open during the fall of 2007.
