Marriott's Seaview First to Deploy Realistic Walk-Through Tour for Online Visitors
Seaview Resort & Spa, a Marriott Resort located in Galloway , NJ , is the first resort and meetings venue in the U.S. to adopt MotionVR Tours technology for its website. The realistic "walk-through" tour technology provides website visitors with a "real" perspective of what they would actually see if visiting a destination in person.
"MotionVR technology provides our online visitors with a real site search right from their computer screen that actually allows them to see, feel and capture the true essence of our resort," says Tim Cahill, director of sales & marketing, Seaview Resort & Spa. "This interactive experience is perfect for meeting planners on a site search, a bride looking for the perfect ballroom or even a golfer looking for a championship venue to play, as it gives a true perspective of the vast amenities Seaview has to offer, without having to be here."
Using hi-tech, yet simple-to-use navigation tools, visitors to Seaview's website -- www.seaviewmarriott.com -- can now walk through rooms or areas of the resort, inside or outside, while traveling room-to-room, ascending and descending staircases, passing through doorways and even walking down the fairway of the golf courses.
In addition, visitors can stop at any point during the tour to obtain a 360 degree perspective to most effectively showcase a room or location in the resort, including Seaview's meeting and conference rooms, the Georgian-style main building, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the main dining room, and much more.
"A digital photo or virtual tour cannot truly do our resort justice," adds Cahill. "But a MotionVR Tour is literally like being on the property and we are thrilled to offer this service to our online visitors, and future Seaview customers."
