Happy's Pizza Plans its Next Phase with SpeedLine Point of Sale

In preparation for the chain’s next phase of expansion, Michigan-based Happy’s Pizza selected SpeedLine Solutions Inc. as its preferred POS technology partner.
Happy’s Pizza Chief Technology Officer Al Zara noted that they are streamlining management and operations to drive revenue and profitability for franchisees in the company’s 80 restaurant locations.
“One key to supporting our franchise owners more effectively is to choose a preferred point of sale provider and work towards standardization,” Zara said. With pizza and delivery-focused SpeedLine POS systems up and running in 26 Happy’s Pizza locations so far, “SpeedLine has been a flexible partner, providing Happy’s Pizza with the flexibility to integrate our chosen online ordering solution.”
Zara added that the open architecture of the SpeedLine product, as well as open integration APIs, will provide Happy’s Pizza ongoing flexibility for future technology initiatives. “With where technology is heading, it makes sense to have one standard platform that can connect with different systems and new technologies.”
From a technical standpoint, the SpeedLine systems have proven to be more robust than other POS systems in the chain, resulting in far fewer service issues, Zara reported.
