Carnival Cruise Lines Brings Digital Signage to Newest Ship

Carnival Cruise Lines has implemented a digital signage solution on its newest ship, Carnival Freedom. Carnival Cruise Lines has installed more than 20 displays in the Freedom's casino area that will feature updated information and content on various shipboard activities, running on RoninCast 2.3, Wireless Ronin Technologies' latest application.

"Carnival is always looking for ways to enhance guests' satisfaction with their •Fun Ship' vacation experience, and RoninCast's new software provides a variety of value-added benefits to help us achieve this objective," says James O-Hare, Carnival's director of slots and strategic planning.

The RoninCast software utilizes real-time database integration, and now offers the ability to display real-time progressive jackpot totals and trigger instantaneous system wide winner celebration content when a jackpot has been won.
