California Wineries Tackle Event Management
Rubicon Estates, a 120-year-old winery located in Rutherford, California, and Icon Estates, a St. Helena, California-based winery, have implemented ReServe Interactive's Events Management software to manage the thousands of tastings, tours and large-scale and high-profile events held by each winery annually and eliminate redundancies resulting from the use of different database applications.
"Now, with the click of a button, all departments can view daily schedules to check space availability," says Sally Allred, events director at Rubicon Estates. "We can print reports that help us plan events and tours, and include attendance numbers, equipment needs, and labor requirements. It's improved our efficiency and allowed us to create an exclusive VIP experience for our guests."
ReServe Interactive's Event Management software offers features unique to vineyards and wineries such as the ability to track return-on-investment by individual event and enhanced communication between internal departments and multiple winery locations. Facilities can also track and manage labor requirements and centralize reservations for tastings, tours, dining and events.
