Boyd Gaming Upgrades Property Management System

Boyd Gaming Inc. announces that it will deploy the MICROS 9700 Hospitality and Retail Management System (HMS) as its standard technology solution throughout its Coast Casinos division. Boyd Gaming will install nearly 300 MICROS Workstation 4 terminals across four locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, by the end of April 2007.

"Over the years Boyd's has benefited greatly from MICROS's first rate products and service," says Denny Frey, Boyd Gaming's VP of IT. "We chose to convert Coast Casinos to the MICROS 9700 HMS solution in order to extend the advantages our other properties enjoy, including MICROS's product innovation, the 9700's ease of integration to property management and player tracking systems, and an enhanced guest experience."

The locations, which will be installed on a single MICROS 9700 HMS Enterprise System, are Orleans Arena, The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast.
