Restaurants and hotels agree that improving loyalty is a top priority for technology in 2017. More than half of restaurants (61%) and hotels (52%) put improving digital customer engagement and loyalty as the number one strategic goal for technology rollouts according to HT’s 2017 Restaurant and Lodging Technology Studies. Operators from both restaurants and hotels are ready to invest in technology that will help them achieve this. According to HT research, 58% of restaurants and 37% of hotels will be adding, upgrading or making changes to CRM/loyalty software.
