KIOSK Information Systems and Posiflex Expand Self-Service Standard Product Portfolio
KIOSK Information Systems (KIOSK), and its parent company, Posiflex, announce a new modular standard terminal series designed to marry improved lead times and superior reliability.
The new modular platform named The Apex Series is designed for mid-tier kiosk transaction complexity – primarily for self-service ordering and payment in quick-serve and fast casual restaurants. The Apex is a highly configurable kiosk that can be deployed as a countertop, pedestal, or wall-mount. It accommodates a 19” or 22” PCAP LCD, interchangeable for portrait or landscape to simplify user interface (UI) compatibility. This series provides a more compact platform for restaurateurs and retailers who favor a smaller form factor than the 32” Paragon series.
The Apex is also designed to transact self-service retail bill payment, queuing, check-in, and ticketing applications. To efficiently answer pipeline demand, KIOSK is mass-producing metals, stocking components, and pre-configuring integrated solution module options to streamline and cost-reduce key steps in manufacturing and integration. Because the platform ships as pre-configured / boxed modules, lead time and shipping costs are also substantially more competitive than traditional industry offerings.
