HITEC 2019 NEWS: TraknProtect Selected to Present Location-Based Employee Security Platform During Entrepreneur 20X (E20X) Competition at HITEC 2019
HITEC Booth #3017 - TraknProtect, a provider of real-time location technology purpose-built for the hospitality environment, has been selected by HFTP (Hospitality Technology Financial Professionals) to present its award-winning solution during the Entrepreneur 20X (E20X) competition at this year's HITEC Minneapolis on June 17, 2019. During E20X, selected companies prepare and deliver four-minute presentations which are then judged by a panel of hospitality technology industry experts. At this year's event, TraknProtect will present its suite of location-based services, which includes a comprehensive safety button alert platform, in addition to advanced inventory-tracking technology.
The TraknProtect platform consists of a series of strategically placed hubs designed to interface directly with employee alert buttons and inventory tracking equipment. Using cloud-based technology, TraknProtect is able to triangulate the location of employees when a safety alert is activated and individual items of hotel inventory in real time. From there, the company's intuitive software is able to send immediate signals from active staff alert buttons based on their location or through user activation, which can then be received via desktop, SMS, email, or phone calls.
All of these functions are accessed using TraknProtect's simple dashboard, which can track real-time analytics on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. The platform has been designed as a holistic way to provide security to the most vulnerable elements of a hotel's operations - its employees - and it does so by leveraging a property's existing Wi-Fi and devices, without any rewiring required. With no added infrastructure necessary, hotels can access the TraknProtect platform and provide immediate security to their employees.
The E20X competition has two awards at stake: The Judges' Choice Award and the People's Choice Award. While the recipient of the Judges' Choice Award will be determined by an expert panel of judges, HITEC attendees will vote for the winner of the People's Choice Award, with votes submitted via the HITEC app. The winner of the Judge's Award will take home $5,000 USD, and will earn a guaranteed spot on HITEC show floors for the next 12 months.
Each company participating in the E20X competition will also be located on the HITEC Minneapolis show floor in the E20X Innovation Lab. TraknProtect will be located at Booth #3 in the E20X Innovation Lab, while the company's main booth can be found at #3017.
