Famous Dave's Rolls Out Mobile Pay Solution for Secure Guest Experience

Famous Five Dining, Inc., owner, operator, and franchisee of five Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que restaurants in Tennessee, now offers Tabbedout in all of their locations. Famous Five Dining has the rights to franchise Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que throughout Central & East Tennessee and parts of North Georgia. Currently, it operates Famous Dave's restaurants in Hermitage, Franklin, Chattanooga, Knoxville and Smyrna, Tennessee.

 

Tabbedout is the free mobile payment app for iPhone and Android that allows consumers to open, view and pay bar and restaurant tabs with their phones, and is fully integrated with MICROS, Famous Five Dining's point-of-sale (POS) partner. This means patrons can pay directly from their phone when they are ready and wait staff can spend more time serving food and drink instead of running credit cards.

 

Tabbedout allows users to securely store credit or debit card information directly on their phone, encrypted and under passphrase protection, instead of on host servers or in "the cloud." Consumers are safe from the threat of stolen payment information due to lost or forgotten credit cards since they now can open and pay their tab directly from their phone. Patrons can also view their itemized tab in real-time and can split the tab with friends right from the app.
