Cheetah Digital Acquires Stellar Loyalty

Cheetah Digital, an enterprise cross-channel marketing software company, has acquired Stellar Loyalty, a provider of cloud-based customer engagement and loyalty software.

The Stellar Loyalty Consumer Relationship Cloud helps brands drive engagement frequency, maximize revenue, and build more meaningful and profitable customer relationships with their customers. Stellar’s customers include retail, travel, hospitality, and consumer goods brands, including Yankee Candle, Cayman Airways, CraftWorks and Harlequin.

Stellar Loyalty’s big data architecture consumes millions of digital signals in real-time across mobile, email, web, social and point-of-sale systems. The Stellar Platform’s first-party data structure combines batch and streaming capabilities to ingest demographic, behavioral, transactional and contextual data to create a predictive set of consumer engagement opportunities. As a result, real-time consumer interaction profiles provide a comprehensive understanding of individual behavior for the marketer to deliver more relevant messages, campaigns and offers.

Together, Cheetah Digital and Stellar Loyalty will redefine customer engagement and loyalty for B2C marketers, enabling them to create relevant consumer experiences that drive greater revenue for their brands. The convergence of Stellar Loyalty’s big data architecture with Cheetah Digital’s Marketing Suite provides marketers with a single platform solution with next-generation data management and cross-channel execution capabilities.

The Stellar Loyalty team is comprised of industry veterans from Siebel Systems, Oracle, SAP, and Marketo who have deep domain expertise in CRM, mobile, marketing automation, loyalty and member engagement. Peter Lim will continue to oversee Stellar’s services, support, and product teams, and will serve as Cheetah Digital’s SVP of Engineering, Innovation.
