Dr. Peter Fiedler appointed Chief Financial Officer Kempinski Hotels

Kempinski Hotels has appointed Dr. Peter Fiedler as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Kempinski Management Board. In this position, Dr. Peter Fiedler will be playing a crucial role in overseeing the financial function and performance of the luxury hotel group and will be in charge of Corporate and Hotel Finance, Managing of Financial Resources, Loss Prevention, Compliance as well as Internal Audit among others.

Dr. Fiedler brings with him more than 40 years of experience in Finance and Controlling and has been focusing on business consulting, investment and board assignments on various hotel development and management projects in the last decade.

From 1982 to 1998 he has been associated with Daimler-Benz Group achieving detailed knowledge and skills of a leading industrial group while evolving from a Manager to a Senior Vice President in different functions in the finance and controlling business. In 1998, he joined Bayerische Braustiftung Josef Schörghuber & Co. Holding KG Munich as a Senior Vice President, Head of Group Finance Department and Holding Council. In 2001 he moved to Bavaria International Aircraft Leasing GmbH & Co. KG as Managing Director and CFO while meantime also becoming a Member of the Executive Board with Brau Holding International GmbH & Co. KGaA. Moreover, from 1998 to 2008 he has also been associated with Schörghuber Group Munich, occupying multiple executive mandates within the group.
