Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Adds Necessities, Family Pack to the Menu

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has added an array of grocery items for guests to order online at Dickeys.com and through the Dickey’s app. Toilet paper, paper towels, boxes of gloves and bottled water are now available to order for delivery or pick-up at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations across the U.S.

“Dickey’s has been a staple in communities since 1941 and we’re open and here to serve you all the essentials you need during this difficult time,” says Laura Rea Dickey CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc.

Hickory-smoked pork butts, kielbasa sausages, racks of ribs and briskets are available in whole sizes for barbecue fans. In addition, Dickey’s Southern sides will be available in a new larger size to complement guests placing bulk orders.

As more families are sheltering in place, restaurants have responded by offering more family oriented meal solutions for pickup or delivery.  Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is now offering a new Classic Family Pack fit to feed a family of 4 for $34.99 at participating locations. The Classic Family Pack includes 1 pound of pulled pork, 1 pound of brisket, barbecue beans, cabbage slaw, potato salad, 6 rolls, barbecue sauce, pickles and onions. 

Other restaurants offering family packs include:

• Black Bear Diner is now offering specially priced Family Meals, including breakfast. Family Meals include Bacon, Eggs & Pancakes and Roasted Turkey Dinner and serve 3-4.  

• Torchy’s Tacos Family Packs include everything for a home taco bar including freshly prepared meats, tortillas and toppings, plus rice and beans. Serves 4-5 for just $25. The company is also offering At-Home Margarita Kits in all Texas locations, which include a 375mL bottle of Cazadores or El Jimador Tequila, housemade sweet and sour, lime wedges and a Torchy’s shaker, starting at just $40. And for guests in Colorado, they’re now serving pre-mixed, individual Margaritas to-go.
